What do we need to get started?
A tablet or laptop with a camera is all you need. Classes are conducted on our Dedicated Learning Platform — we'll send you login details and a setup guide before your first session.
Are these live classes or pre-recorded videos?
Always live. A real PLA teacher runs every session in real time. We don't believe pre-recorded videos can properly teach phonics — children need active correction and encouragement to progress.
How many students are in an online class?
We keep online class sizes to 5–7 students, same as in-centre. This ensures your child gets genuine attention from the teacher — not just a face on a screen among 20 others.
Can we switch to in-centre classes later?
Yes, absolutely. If your circumstances change and you'd like to move to our Kovan (SG) or Oasis Ara Damansara (MY) centre, just let us know and we'll arrange the transition. The curriculum is identical so there's no disruption to your child's progress.
What happens if my child misses a class?
Please notify us in advance. We do our best to arrange make-up sessions depending on availability. You'll also receive a note on what was covered so your child can catch up on the key concepts before the next class.
